 The rogue rig is a digital record and playback package based around the quicktime format. Shots are recorded in .mov format and a database is created of the days, weeks or months of shooting. Any file within the database can be accessed within seconds and can be played at any speed, with the possibility of playback and simultaneous record. Capable of recording up to 5 cameras, it has full mix and overlay facility, auxilary power, flight case, switchable output and an inbuilt edit suite.
Programs available for use are Final Cut Pro, Adobe After FX, Adobe Photoshop & DVD Pro. There's also a full range of foley and music tracks to liven up any edit. |

 Here's the good bit - The rogue rig records full size movie files in Quicktime. That means that its possible to build a video assist database of footage which can then be either edited on set, or taken away by production to create an offline edit on any Apple computer, a potentially huge saving in edit suite hire. Better still, because of our editing speed, its possible to have a 'live' edit in progress so that a director can tweak any shots before changing set up. Another way we can save you money. |
